In the meantime, if you are interested in advertising to the Oregon State University campus through a proven,
successful method, I have the "Campus Special" going on on now until the end of the school year in May or June.

The "Campus Special" is as follows.
* The pedicab is out for 5-7 hours during peak days and times, giving students and faculty free rides on behalf
of your business. I work especially to target your specific demographic when offering rides.
* 50-60 riders get a coupon or small advertisement for your business, and I am able to talk up any specials or promotions
you have going on, as well as tell newcomers where to find your place. Typical handouts are 1 dollar-off coupons
(like gold to a college student), free small appetizers/drinks, or perhaps a small handbill listing weekly specials,
upcoming events or other information about your company. For coupons, the point is to bring students in the door with
something exciting and compelling. I've often found if there is a catch like "$5 off when you spend $50 or more,"
those coupons are not often effective.
* I have each side of the pedicab covered with your logo or ad on laminated paper. The dimensions are:
Front of cab - standard 8 x 11 inch page with ad placed horizontally.
2 Sides of cab - standard 8 x 11 inch page with ad placed horizontally.
Back of cab - available space is 19 in x 19 in.
Many sponsors do an 11 x 17 horizontal ad, to allow space for the Corvallis Pedicab logo as well.
In short, it is three standard 8 x 11 inch laminated papers, and one larger ad for the back.
You can provide these to me, or I can print up and laminate the ads for a nominal fee of $15.
The signage is a way to show everyone who sees the cab that you support a fun, useful, unique service in Corvallis.
Even those who don't ride will see your ad, and most people are smiling when they see the pedicab.
That is when you want them to make the association with your business - when they are smiling and
interested in what they're looking at. Corvallis Pedicab is a hit wherever it goes, and a much appreciated new
part of the community. It receives continual positive feedback on the OSU campus, each day it's out.

The cost for the Campus Special is only $100 per day. Keep in mind, this is 3 kinds of advertising:
the signage display, the coupon and the word of mouth during the ride. The pedicab is recognized and increasingly
well-known throughout OSU, and this special has been a proven success, delivering a coupon return rate of 30-40%.
I am willing to give references for each business who has signed on. You can sign up for just a day or two,
though it is typical to sign up for several days to get a high number of coupons circulated, and to keep your name
out there in a positive, creative and exciting way. First Alternative CoOp Grocery Store has signed
on for numerous days, and that repeat exposure has been very effective. People value local businesses who
support alternative transportation and a valued, complimentary service for tired legs.
